ADMISSION GUIDELINES

The following procedure of admission will be followed for the academic session 2018-2019 :

  • Student is advised to visit http//du.ac.in for detailed information. The college will admit all the candidates who have percentage that meet the announced cut-off criteria. No first-come–first served policy is adopted.
  • The applicants who meet the requisite cut-off should login to the UG admission portal into their registration account and select college/Programme where the Applicant wishes to take admission and meets the desired cut-off criterion
  • The Applicant shall take the print out of the admission form generated in name of the college through the DU Admission Portal and together with the list of documents/certificates (See List of Documents Required ) proceed to the college for verification of mark-sheet/certificates, calculation of cut-off percentage depending on the programme/course as per the schedule & verification of documents as per University directions
  • The college will retain the original certificates of students However, the colleges shall promptly return the documents in case student withdraws/cancels the admission or student wishes to appear in counselling of any other university/ institute(proof required).
  • Students are advise to follow the steps for admission (Admission Check List).
  • The Applicant will then be required to log-on to the UG admission portal to make the online Admission Fee payment through the available online payment options. The approved Applicant is permitted to make online admission fee payment till 12 noon of the next day of the given admission list deadline (See Section 2.6 of University Bulletin).
  • It may be noted that your provisional admission in a college is completed only after payment of the online admission fee on the UG admission portal within the prescribed time-limit.
  • Applicant can take admission only in one Programme in one college at any given time. In case a student wishes to withdraw/cancel the admission in a Programme/college, the Applicant should approach the college where the admission is taken. Only after the college cancels the admission of a applicant, the applicant can proceed to take admission in other Programme/college.
    (a) The applicants who could not take admission in a given cut-off list can be considered for admission in the immediate next cut-off list only on the last date of admission, subject to availability of seats.
    (b) For Boards, like International Baccalaureate and others, whose results are declared late, applicants may be considered in whichever cut-off list their results are declared, subject to availability of seats and provided the Applicant had completed the online registration process.
  • Gap year(s) would be no bar for the purpose of admission to the undergraduate Programmes.
    i. The applicants seeking admission under ECA category may check University bulletin for further details.
    ii. The applicants seeking admission under Sports category may check University bulletin for further details.
    iii. For BBE Course admission will be done through entrance test conducted by Univesity of Delhi .
